Greetings fellow Crooneristians and a very happy new year to you all!
So following all of the Christmas festivities, excess of turkey & ham, mince pies, cakes, chocolate and other assorted Christmas goodies, we’ve loosened our belts, made our new year resolutions and waved 2025 goodbye, to welcome in the new year in hope and excitement of what good things that it may hold in store for us.
One of its first highlights, we are hoping, will be the first Croonerista of 2026 on Friday the 9th of January and we are very much looking forward to being your hosts for the evening and seeing you all there. We can’t wait to hear your contribution to the evening’s variety of songs, poetry or stories, but of course, listeners are also always welcome too.
We’re not setting a theme to this month’s session, but as it’s the new year, we’re hoping that it can be a ‘New year – new piece’ night and that if you can, you will bring along a new piece to perform, if you have time to prepare for it. If not, then of course all contributions will be welcome, even if we’ve heard them many times before – Croonerista is always rooted in friendship, so all will be very welcome.
Come along early for a chat and we hope that we can start the performances promptly at 9pm.
All the best,
Sheila and Gary
