For the third year running, the Club is delighted to co-host the Polish O’Czytani (“the well read ones”) festival.
This fantastic festival is run by Biblary Community Centre and Library in Inchicore (the award winning Polish Library Service) and features inspiring talks, creative workshops, book fair and a meeting with writer Szczepan Twardoch.
The vennues are spread between Inchicore and Trinity College.
The O’Czytani Literary Festival 2026 is a three-day celebration of literature, creativity and intercultural encounters, which will take place in Dublin on 26 May and 6-7 June.
The festival brings together writers, artists, readers and community members around an inspiring programme of workshops, meetings, performances and interactive events in Polish and English. Participants can take part in creative writing workshops, mobile journalism training, a literary walk around Dublin and meet Polish authors during the book fair.
The program also includes a literary panel, a competition for the most beautiful love poem with the participation of actor Artur Jakubik and a unique meeting with the renowned writer Szczepan Twardoch. Participants will also have social bingo, a raffle and the opportunity to relax in the festival café.
O’Czytani is an open and friendly space for literature lovers of all ages. Whether you’re an avid reader, an aspiring writer, or just want to explore new stories and voices, the festival provides an opportunity to meet, inspire, and have creative experiences in a welcoming atmosphere.
