What a great success for the Club and many thanks for the terrific organisers.

For eats there was street food outside the Club with an offering of great pizzas and delicious Korean BBQ.

The acts continuously entertained throughout the dat and into the night.

It was the first time for some of us to experience poetry in motion at an event and boy was it worth it. A powerful, emotional frenzy of cacophonous thought in motion. Gripping, chanting personal testimony gripped the emotions of the assembled audience. A harrowing range of difficult subject matter was approached that left a lump in the throat of the assembled denizens. Wonderfully powerful stuff altogether.

Hopefully we’ll see you all back in our unique Club next year. The Smithfield Creatives abú! Maithú!

The Works! What a weekend event.
